I wish we could have gotten rid of Lucic instead of Monahan, but obviously Monahan is more appetizing since he is actually good at hockey.
Dare to dream Monahan comes back to us next season on a reasonable contract.

Mohanan > Trevor Lewis lol
Monahan won't be commanding anything near his current salary, his contract runs up at the end of this season, if he was willing to come back at a reasonable price, come home bb
Lucic contract is done this year as well, that frees up a good amount of coin.
That all being said, I may or may not own 3 Monahan jerseys and be a Monahan fan boy.
Monahan 5x5, do it Tre.
Don't get me wrong, I LIKE Monahan, both for what he was, and for what he will be, I just think it's werid to think of the 32 teams, there'd be an appetite to bring him back in such a different role than he had when he was doing well. He'll be 1.5 million player, 1 or 2 year deals. He's hurtbag.
Guaranteed he's going LTIR sometime this season.
He's currently outperforming a few certain 8 mil and 10 mil per year players.....
Not that I want him back
He's doing great, and he's a great guy, but he is what he is at this point, and that's a guy with injury issues who's bests days are behind him. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Fuck Markstrom, that is all. We were doing so good without him.
WTF did you want him to do with a first shot breakaway against one of the best finisher in the league? He's been fine this first period.
It's hilarious how easy it is to troll CalgaryPuck. Bingo and his friends are lol.
Haha. Huberdeau is so bad. And they have him for eight more years at 10 mill. Lol
Don’t get how you can sign players to these contracts without playing them under new systems first. Happens all the time.
Does he have a no trade? Maybe we can trade huby for Johnny lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

He is not looking good in this system and with the line mates. That could change. Lindholm isn't doing as well as he did last year likely due to the fact he is missing his two good mates. It seems like everyone does better playing with Backlund. He can carry the puck into the O zone and make things happen. Kadri can get into the O zone too but it seems once he is there he can't find anyone to pass to and ends up shooting 80% of the time. Zadorov surprisingly can skate and make some moves. Dude is very likeable because of how he plays, and how he is with the fans/media. Kylington was the puck carrier/mover for us last year from the back end. To certain extends Hanifin and Anderson can skate and get into the offensive zone too.
Definitely Huberdeau and Weegar can be better. Hopefully they will soon.
Phillips played well against Toronto. It has been a long time since the Flames not have one or two 'tough' player in the lineup. Last year they had Lucic, Gudbranson and Ritchie. Against some teams they will need some toughness. With Looch and Ritchie in the lineup the Flyers and the Wilds didn't want to get into the rough stuff too much.
I do hope Phillips and another young guy (Pelltier, Zary, or Jones?) get opportunities to crack the line up.
It's Kylington still not back?

With an $84million investment into Huberdeau- my guess is old man Sutter is going to be changing his system.
Phillips being called up goes to show he isn't making all the roster decisions anymore.
Lucic is a hell of a man, but if he sits a bunch this season it doesn't hurt my feelings. Let's have some of the kids playing significant roles.
Be nice if Hubie looked a little more comfortable, maybe that'll come.
Current team is a really interesting collection of parts. Lots to dream on.
