Lost in the reverse retro unveil, Darth Vladar signs a 2 year extension with the team. Kind of surprised by this. I understand hes a solid #2, but I think Wolf will be knocking on the door as soon as next year. Maybe they plan on swinging Vladar in the future for a 1st or 2nd like the did with Reto Berra a few years back.

I wouldn't doubt if Wolf is ready by next year, Vladar will be traded to be a #1 somewhere; he is that good. In the mean time, the more playing time Wolf gets though the better.

Having 3 goalies is a great problem to have. Lets hope Wolf pans out but untill then Vladar as a solid backup at $2m is decent.

Sabres look to be improving, finally, or just beginning of the season unknowns.

I hope Sutter sits Markstrom for a few games, he's been brutal so far this season.

Sabres looked good. Got into all our passing lanes to frustrate the flames, we started overplaying and never recovered. Excellent positioning and passing to find open shooting lanes. Looks like a totally different team.
