Like idk if you’re a ringer you’re a ringer no matter where ya go, right???
It’s like the ninja dunno how to ninja all of a sudden lol
But idk just saying, no more players from Florida lol we always get the not quite as advertised version aha

It's probably the only meaningful bar for a fan of one team. Now if you are a fan of "the whole league" then sure, but you also wouldn't be mad at Johnny for leaving.....This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Is it time to buy out Markstrom’s contract yet? I think the forwards played a better goaltending game than him tonight.

Kadri was laughable and whoever 16 is better be a forward for that LoL defense in OT.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
That’s another issue. Giving them a pass because it’s not consistently that bad. Felt like watching a mike smith performance being so out of position so many times.

I think if we get into next year and he still plays like this then you look at offloading him. I am willing to give him this down year, no matter how much his performance pisses me off. I'd like to think his head isn't in it because he's expecting his first kid and got engaged so there are likely big personal things going on. I'd love to know what happened during the Oilers playoff series that ruined him because he hasn't been the same since. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The whole team (except Coleman, Tanev, Backlund and Vladar) has sucked this year. Zadorov and Weegar have flashes of being excellent defensemen but then have weak giveaways or throw pizzas up the middle.
The 'In.The.Dome' instagram account had a pretty good analytics break down of Huberdeau vs previous years vs other start players who had down years (including Johnny G) which made me feel a bit better. He actually has some pretty good content if you can get over the extreme ups and down in emotional posting. I keep reminding myself that Huberdeau was blindsided by this trade and he's still on the $5.9M contract, but just like Marky if this continues next year then fuck'em.

The other thing with both is that it's a serious sell low moment. You'd have to eat money or give away assets on each right now. Would be kind of crazy to do right now from an asset management perspective.
I get we're paying Markstrom starting goalie money and he is/should be our starter, but he's been pretty fucking bad all season long from the beginning.
Even look at just the win record stats betwen Markstrom and Vladar. We win more games when Vladar is in net. Do we want to win more than lose? Yes?? Start Vladar and ride him out.
I'm super impartial to this season, fucking whacky one, had pretty high hopes at the beginning with the off season acquisitions, understanding time to gel but at this point it's a roll of the dice to see what we get out of this team.
Might be a write off of a season, that being said I haven't been to one game in person this season and glad I haven't wasted any money on whatever this team is.
Also wtf Rasmus got hit by a car while riding a scooter in Detroit apparently

Only game I went to was against the Oil and it all fell apart from there.
I'm good with Marky being the backup for now and still being paid while he works through whatever's in his head. I'm in the same place. Same thing going on with Soup up north and Skinner. Except Soup is actually terrible.
Kylington still a question mark. If they gonna go overpay for a defenceman at the deadline, they should at least say what's going on.

Kylington is a weird one. I'm all for giving people privacy, and I think sports fans are too used too having all the info. He's also not counting against the cap, he's on IR according to capriendly, so I guess he's not "hurting" the team in that sense. Still, very weird.
The team is weird. The dome is weird. Everything is weird.
