I don't know if I would say that positioning and playing the puck is his issue. It just seems like he isn't making the saves he made last year, glove side and blocker side are all going in, he kinda plays goal like my 9 year old this year, bottom 1/4 of the net is ok with his 'fly fundamentals but once you put it over its a crapshoot.

Would love to see some young guys on the team. Give Zary or Philips a taste and see if they can generate some chemistry. Not sure who they will take out of the line up though as there are a few Sutter favorites. No news on Kylington but with him and Tanev the D would look much better.

Backlund is quite underappreciated. PK, PP, wins faceoffs and is one of the guys who can enter the O Zone.

D is in a rough state and offense needs a kick in the ass, too many good players on the team doing fuck all.

Honestly, this is the best time of the year to be slumping…as long as they can keep on working at doing things the right way and build momentum as the season progresses. Not facing much/any adversity last year didn’t help the team at all when it really mattered.

The last couple of games and specifically last night they actually played pretty damn good.

Its November, I'm not worried. And like posted above, best to slump now. They'll be fine. We will win again... probably.... maybe....
