She actually didn't walk it back. She said if it was determined a law negatively affected Albertans, it wouldn't be followed or enforced.

The feds will have to sue Alberta, and until the supreme court makes a ruling, the status quo will remain. I don't think she ever said anything besides that.

Even though the supreme court decision on the carbon tax is wrong, it has been decided on. Until the feds get some balls and put the judiciary in its place (hopefully once conservatives get in federally please oh please baby jesus), this will not change.
