This BioSteel trash that seems to have bought the NHL contract needs more awkward packaging. I'd like to see the players need to remove both gloves, plus perhaps mix two liquids together in order to take a drink.
At least give it a second, smaller lid.

Make them mix a powder into a shaker cup on the bench after every shift.

I would watch McDavid shake that cup.

On a separate note, that BioSteel crap isn't terrible. Give it to your kids before a flight for an extra boost.

What is it? I assume it's a Gatorade/Powerade type of drink but its stupid packaging makes me think it's some sort of fuckin dairy shake!
    Maybe it's FIGHT MILK!

Right after I wrote my complainy post, I saw the first conventional water bottle of it, so maybe they're transitioning to something not so completely stupid. Maybe it's the shots in the penalty box where I still always see the dumb cartons.

Vancouver should have fired anyone that's ever fired anyone and started from that point. Their handling of Bruce Boudreau etc will go down in history as one of the most mangled fuck-ups in decades.

Almost pisses me off as much as when Mike Gillis tried to play hardball with two star goalies in Luongo and Schneider and ended up losing both as a result.

(Yes, I know that a couple of years later Schneider was no longer a star. Still sucked monkey balls)

All the players on my kids teams are all about the bio steel guess that marketing really works, pretty much a better tasting/healthier(no sugar) alternative to gatorade in eco friendly packaging. We just get the powder sleeves from Costco.

Tetra packs are not. In any way eco friendly. Not even a little bit.

But at least we can agree that sugar substitutes are healthier.

Horvat to the Islanders, one coast to the other. Is he as bad of a cancer as JT Miller? Hopefully this is the beginning of the 'Nucks figuring their shit out

JT Miller is the cancer, not Horvat.

I expect more stars to be injured before the next clown show.

That video is basically the heart of what the NHL really is these days.

Is the NHL doing well? I heard ratings are way down and Arizona plays in a high school gym.

Arizona is fine. The market in Arizona is vital and doing extremely well. Phoenix is a hockey city.

Has the NHL season started yet?

I could have sworn it doesn’t start up until mid February.

Achieving NHL status is lucky. It's just a conduit to syphon money from Canada's parents while allowing entititled kids to assault without penalty.
    Convince me I'm wrong.

Never heard anyone suggesting Horvat is a cancer; he's a classy guy.

Miller is highly emotional, and we've seen some not-so-great attitude from him lately, but I haven't heard much leaked internally that would suggest he's as big of a problem as the media suggests. If he was, you wouldn't think management would sign him long term.

As for Horvat, it's sad to see him move on, but the Canucks just couldn't afford him. Apparently they offered 7.5X7 which in my opinion is the proper aav and term, but his recent performance earned him more in Long Island. It will be interesting to see if he lives up to the contract in the first place, let alone near the end of the contract when Horvat will be in his mid 30's.

I think they really need to accept they will never have the market share of the NFL/MLB/NBA & stop with this bullshit. I want to see skills, not this garbage. I'm not sure where the cutoff should be on the ridiculous meter, using props or whatever else, but it's gotten out of hand.

For every millennial they turn onto the sport with this, they lose an older viewer such as myself that stares dumbfounded into their TV before going "nope" and shuts it off to go yell at clouds.

Hasn't the allstar game always been for kids? In most sports?
