Revert every player to league min, then each player gets points for Team wins and for points. Love the idea.

Are you claiming Horvat is their only "good player"? If so, you clearly haven't watched Pettersson this season, as he's been an absolute beast on both sides of the puck, and is well over 1ppg. They also have Hughes at 1ppg - who, despite his deficiencies is one of the best puck moving defensemen in the game, and 3 other guys also hovering around 1ppg.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. For comparison's sake only, the Flames don't have any players even close to 1ppg, except maybe Ruzicka who is working with a small sample size so far. Not to say guys like Kadri and Huberdeau aren't excellent players - but they certainly haven't been playing to their potential.
There's no doubt the Canucks have serious issues they need to address to be successful, but the collective skill of their forward group isn't one of them.
You caught me, not a Canuck superfan.
Watched Petterrssoon casually but not with the lights out and hand lotion on the coffee table like everyone in lower mainland BC.
Tyler "Minors" isn't getting much with his very poorly timed penalties.
Petterson, Horvat, Hughes, Miller, Kuzmenko, Boeser, Garland, Mikheyev.
Falls off a cliff pretty quick after that, but that is a dangerous group.
8 good players can make a team. Wish the flames had 8 consistently good players.
Myers never was a 6m defenseman. Can't wait for his contract to be over; that's a lot tied up in a guy who's a 4th-5th defenseman, at best. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

That's about it. The guy is a giant, but rarely throws his weight around like he could. Very average player being paid like he's a borderline star.
9-8 Seattle over L.A. $15m goalie placed on waivers.
Absolute textbook TMM on Arizona causes OT loss.
Pathetic.
Markys swim to the blue line Vs Montreal was interesting. Didn’t learn that in Vancouver. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Who might pick up Boeser? I think he will end up staying now that Vancouver is out of the toilet.

Boeser is a strange case. He's been through a ton, and I can't help but think it has had an effect on his play. If he's moved, I think it will be a bit of a toss-up of how he would perform for his next team. He was technically scratched for the last game, then ended up getting a goal. Yet, goals have been hard to come by for him - and although he's putting up lots of assists, his general play has seemed rather uninspired. It's likely to be a sell-low scenario right now, but there was one suggestion I heard (and has been an ongoing theme) which makes some sense for both teams. Boeser to Wild for Dumba, plus maybe a pick. The Wild give up a player on an expiring UFA contract instead of letting him potentially walk, and in return they roll the dice that Boeser will again be a dominant scorer. Vancouver gets a solid defenseman they've been needing for some time.
Blow Jackets down 9-2 with a full period to go. LoL!!!!
Krebs with his first goal of the season! Go Sabres!
