Benn's 5+GM was totally fair, particularly since he got to miss 98% of that game. His suspension is bullshit.

What he did was way less severe and to a way less valuable player than what Pietrangelo did chopping Leon.

Two handed chop on a wrist is much less severe then a crosscheck to the head of a player who is laying on the ice. 2 games is bang on for that suspension. Benn fucked up big time with that decision.

Agreed. I disagree with Penis that the in-game ban should be counted as one. It was a stupid, non hockey play that was intended to injure. That would be 5 games in the reg season and probably some community service.
