have you ever seen a ref change their stance on the ice? It's the first time I've seen it and we have all seen 1000 goals that counted that shouldn't have all due to the ref calling it a good goal on the ice.
All the time for delay of game, a couple time for goals.

And yes I’ve also seen goals like that count when it shouldn’t even after review. I have no idea when they decide goalie interference is called on secondary plays. It’s a coin toss basically.

The proper structure, excellent coaching and lack of emotional nonsense is simply unparalleled in this Battle of Alberta. I don't think I've ever seen it, like this.
Made for a more boring first 40, but she's really opened up in the third.
Shot clock tradition continues. I thought I jinxed it from my earlier comment, but now it's proper full retard. Congrats Calgary on their 456 shots.
Goalie choices baffling, but gambles have paid off.

More of this infuriating nonsense. "The call on the ice stands. We have a 4 min double minor."

I feel like reffing is just brutal everywhere. Like refs told to do insane shit to trigger the fans. It’s been brutal in the Vegas game too.

I should've clarified. Neither ref has an arm up and the Oiler is in a bleeding heap on the ice. So again, "the call on the ice" was no penalty. This bullshit video review awarded Edmonton a 4min powerplay where they try to tell us "the call on the ice stands". That's what I'm complaining about.

NHL is stepping in on other instances where these prospects think they're better than everyone and untouchable.

NHL commissioner says Bruins signee Mitchell Miller, who was involved in bullying scandal, is ineligible to play in league

Lol. "Bullying" means you can't be a pro athlete.

This fucking world deserves to burn

The hockey world is struggling with safety issues. Bullying makes it sound like a couple rude words, but the details in this case allege physical violence against a person who was unable to protect themselves. "Bullying" is understating the situation.

In the other hand, hard to know what the statue of limitations shoukd be on actions taken by children. Many kids do things that would be unacceptable or illegal as adults. Most of those kids have no long term repercussions.

Yea, that kid went way past “bullying”. And then refused to apologize to the kid/family. And showed zero sign of any remorse.

Agree that the reffing has been brutal all around. But refs are allowed to converse before making a call. In this case, they announced a 4-min penalty before going to the replay. Then confirmed with the replay, so I think that's what was being referred to when they said the call on the ice.

Slightly different from the other game where it looks like they pointed for a goal, and then ruled the call on the ice was no goal. It's still bizarro world out there.

    Yikes. Not cool.

We all have done stupid shit.

Idk where the line is drawn but if you’re really good at your job you can get away with a ton of shit. Idk how good this kid is but if you’re getting a pro contract …. They don’t just hand those out do they

Coyotes renounced their rights on the guy.
Probably more issues than just his attitude.

Kid with disabilities has a tough enough life no need to make it worse.
    Google Brian Sakic.
He didn't make it to the show. But better stats than Joe.

Funny that Kane gets to play in Edmonton in comparison.

Kane's issues were due to white privilege, that's why.

Key is getting caught after you're in the player's association.

Unions help protect players from being cancelled by a woke league.

Yeah, accurate. Once you are in the union and a proven performer at the professional level there's a lot more organizational effort going to go into keeping you around.

Prospects are a dime a dozen. Most wash out anyway.
