I need to play this game in the new year.
I think a high likelihood Cable gets dropped this year as what they have been giving me isn’t really
Sustainable imo.

I got $130/month Ignite 500 + Total TV, 3 months Apple Plus, 2 months free Crave. $270 credit one time. Free upgrade to XB7 modem.
But I just seen this ad in the RFD forums from someone who said they got this at Pacific Place mall. If real this is a hot deal!

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.
I just want 1G/1.5G internet with nothing else. No Telus fiber in my hood, so I'm stuck on Shaw/Rogers.
No point going up to 1.5G until I replace my router with one that has 10G SFP ports, but my switch can already handle it.

Shaw likely knows you can't get Telus fiber. So no luck getting deals.

Hoping Telus brings fiber here some day until then I’m with Lightspeed which for $40 for 300mbit is cheap. Just wish I could have better upload for streaming my plex server elsewhere.
That's incredible pricing wowThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

This. Telus has crap offerings for my address and Shaw knows it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I pay $100 for the Ignite 1 Gigabit.
They just sent me the XB7 modem though and I've been getting random service drops and packet loss since hooking it up. Not too happy about that.
I can eat more hot wings than you.

Found out the rep was just re-using those ad prints, TV not included in the deal. Just internet. No Disney+ or TV, that was old promo last month. Damn cheap Asians re-using ad prints and honey sucking u inThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I'm just on Internet anyways, cut the cord years ago. But this is about 20-25 less a month. Are these even legit deals?!

I recently renewed I got ignite 1gb for 75 a month plus a $200 bill credit. $15 more then what I had before however keeping the 500 would be more expensive then upgrading to the 1gb.
Telus internet 50 - $77/month
Telus home phone - $15/month
Telus home security - $40/month
Telus optik TV - $71/month
This is after bundle discounts.
Snagged 1gb from rogers for 70 a month with 200 dollar credit. Worked out as I am dropping cable and best deal I could get. Now its time to change up the cell phone plans.
Finally cut the cord. Just played the retention game with Shaw last week. Got Internet 500 for $60/month + $200 bill credit.
So jelly
Not just the monthly price but the $200bill credit too omg

Used "cellphoneman" for a new Rogers Ignite plan in AB. I guess they had introductory offers that you had to "dm them for"
Anyways, Ignite 1.5G internet, $200 bill credit, $65/month for 24months. Had to sign up under my wife's name, since I'm an "existing customer" of Rogers.
