Default Looking for a plug in timer that does seconds.

Did not think I would have this hard of a time finding soemthing to accomplish this. Cheaply anyways.

Smart plug or timer doesn't matter. Just needs to do this.

    Example

At 4pm timer on. Timer off after 15 seconds.

At 530pm timer on. Timer off after 15 seconds.

    Any suggestions?

No suggestions, but I'm interested in the use case.

Misting system for plants and reptiles. 1 min is too much, need less.

An air compressor drain valve timer will do up to a 10-12 second burst. Just power it off a regular 24hr time as the drain timer are usually only good for up to a 1 hr delay. (and these valves are made for water/air mix)

I've seen Raspberry Pi setups for similar things. Handy if you know Python?

If you already have a smart device, see if IFTTT has a solution? Taking a look through none of my devices seem to do less than 1min increments though

Edit: actually you can use an Alexa/google/whatever assistant timer to trigger an on/off for a smart plug, that could probably work

    Okay, solved…

Have a smart power bar, brand is globe suite… bought it at CT for cheap, it talks to google assistant, within assistant you can set routines, and can add a time delay in seconds between actions. So can set a time to start the power, time delay, then turn off:

Would assume many brands would work the same way as the programming is via assistant, not the device (which does not do seconds in its own native app btw)

Oh shit that's perfect! ^^^ I'll def look into that.

After digging into every Amazon timer I found this one. Looks like it doesn't have a clock so it's just a reputation timer.

I bought this from HD for Halloween. You on the app you can create On or Off events by each plug individually. The app isn't great but it can do what you wanted.

Cancelled the timer, @ercchry nailed it. Downloaded assistant that was already paired with my Google home network. And then that gave me the option to delay seconds.

Funny how the Google home app has the same routine page but without the seconds delay option. Was just an app away!

This is definitely not a use case that I'd trust something that needs internet connectivity to handle. My blinds run on Google assistant routines and there have been a few instances that it has missed the trigger. Obviously not critical if my blinds didn't open once or twice in the morning, but it might be if your trigger to turn the mister on works but the trigger to turn it off doesn't.

The many amazon reptile mister timers aren't suitable? Those look better than the google routine to me. I use google. Home routines for basic reminders around the house and they aren't reliable.

Yea I was thinking about it missing a beat and unloading 2 gallons of waters in the tanks. That would suck.

And extraslow, I have the one you posted plus the other Amazon mister system. Both are pump and controller In one and the pressure sucks. I've upgraded to an actual misting pump and it's only ran by power. So now I need to get this sorted.

There is an actual seconds timer from a company called mistking, but they've made it so you can only use their pump with the controller.

Hmmmmm. Gonna play around with the Google today and see how it goes.

Always open to more suggestions or timers!

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.
