Have my doubts. They have been having breakthroughs my entire life, and its always twenty years away.
The main problem I see is that it needs to be a million degrees to create two million degrees of heat (or roughly those numbers) which is well above maximums of every material known to man, even suspended in a magnetic field.
Realistically in a conventional fission Uranium reactor, you want to be 300 degrees celsius - just enough to boil water into superheated steam. Which is manageable, but not really.
