Been quite a while since I've been to Vegas. I usually book my trips through Expedia, but wondering if there are better options these days to get better prices.
Where do ya'll look for these deals or what is the best way to get the best price?

Shop around, and when you find a good price, book it?
In the past I've found WJ to be close to the same as Expedia. Occasionally Expedia does a sale on certain dates or hotels.
No secrets. Prices are higher than the before times. Shit there is more expensive too. Enjoy yourself.
I've virtually always used WJ Vacations.
May is probably the best month to go.
I've never bothered looking beyond Expedia personally and sometimes through my AMEX Platinum or RBC Avion travel links when I have enough points.
EDC is in Vegas May 19-21st weekend, would strongly avoid going that weekend as prices will be through the roof for everything. It's one of the busiest weekends in Vegas every year.

Ya were planning on may 5-9 for the wife's 40th. Was almost thinking of calling the hotel and asking prices on 5 rooms if it helps us with getting it cheaper. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Direct through hotel will never be cheaper than package
Yes. 5 rooms is not enough for a discount from a large hotel. A wedding with 50-100 guests barely gets a discount (maybe 10%).
If it's a special occasion, I'd strongly recommend The Cosmopolitan. Get a base room and then upgrade to a fountain view + Japanese soaker tub at check in. I think that's the first time I've sat in a bathtub in decades. Spectacular.
If your a reward member of some chains it can be. If I book with Wynn I get 5 nights for the price of 2 right now +$100/day resort credit. Definitely cheaper to book flights separate than any package I could find. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Ya I haven't been in like 5 years so I'm assuming any of the reward stuff I have is void. Good point though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
No reason not to check. Just saying what my experience has been.

Go ahead...
Look it up
Nope, not doing it....you can't make me
If you have a player card (I think you can even sign up for one online) to any of the big chains, you can find some pretty steep discounts. Earlier this year, I stayed at Aria for about $80 a night. Granted, it was early in the week when a lot of things are closed, but it's hard to beat $80 when $40 of that is the damn resort fee.

That's been our experience as well - rates through the player's card (mlife, etc.. ) has always been cheaper than any of the listed rates with Expedia, etc.. especially for weekends. Even for hotels that we haven't stayed/played in years.
Not sure if the discount rates are available this early in advance though if you are looking at May 2023.
OP, I've been using Vegas.com for all but my first trip and find the pricing and experience to be very good. It's free to try, give it a whirl.
April and Oct are my 2 sweet spots as a sun worshipper, but of course early May should be comparable. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I've used vegas.com before and actually saved a ton of money over expedia, doesn't look like it's as good for price comparison right now. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

book direct, it's typically the cheapest or the same, gives more options for upgrades (free or not) and you have the possibility of being comped or credited based on spend with that chain of hotels/casinos
