I think it’s called trickle down.

What a joke! Complete waste of money.
Choose to earn a little less… then you can get the free money too.

Trickle down would be giving the money to the upper class

Only positive thing i see from this is that hopefully this buys them enough votes to keep the ndp from winning next election. It's a lot of money to the welfare bums with lots of kids at home.

Our household is no where close to getting the free $$$. Frick them.

$2B affordability measures, $1B for a Banff-Calgary rail (probably a low estimate), $1B for an airport connection for the LRT, $200M for the arena… curious what you think you’re going to avoid with the NDP?

    Carbon tax rebate.

So to beat NDP next May is to outspend NDP.

This is why immigrants want to come here with their aged parents. Easy win.

Looks like it's back to cruising for class action settlements for supplementary income.

Only families with incomes below $180,000 per year are eligible

Well fuck. I thought Beyond's motto was "don't be poor" but in this instance those of us not being poor are getting fuck. Or...

I guess $180,000 is still poor.

Hence being mad at losing $600/child.

Hard to determine what is too much money in this day and age, but I'd say that anyone making over $200,000 and still taking in benefits is "let them eat cake" territory.

Pretty good vote buy targeted to the fence sitters. No point wasting money on single 18-30 year olds as they are going to vote ndp either way, so focusing on seniors and suburban families is the right move. I still hate her but I can respect a good strategy.

I would argue most seniors are not in the same financial situation as your grandparents.

Meh no different than Ralph bucks.

Coffers are overflowing. Billions added to health care and still gigantic surplus.

High NG prices are way better for Alberta than high oil prices.
