2 amps is fine for storage. Thats a 2x2 unit. Do you have 2 batteries to maintain at once?
Yes there'll be a couple cars to put on tender while on storage. Not sure if that's a better setup vs. two singles.

Hmm... Does it last thru the winter or you have to recharge it within a few weeks?
I recharge it once a month. It doesn’t last all winter haha. If only.

Why don't you remove the battery and trickle charge it in your garage at home?

Radio presets in a 90s era car is annoying to set.

well, I wifes van hasn't moved for a few days, and won't be moving for a few days, so I was going to hook up the battery maintainer, but lo and behold, the cord has cracked from repeated bending. This is a genuine "Battery Tender Jr" that I've had for like 15 years or so, and I mostly use in in deep cold, so not surprised it cracked eventually.

Even though I have 3 other chargers, I really like to leave one low amerpage maintainer in that spot for the wifes van, so I went out and bought the MotoMaster Eliminator Precision Series Smart Battery Charger/Maintainer, Fully Automatic, 1.5-Amp, 6V/12V#011-1967-8

Cost me $41 in CT money and still got $7.50 back. Can't afford not to.

Someone in some other thread said they thought these motomaster precision chsr hers were rebranded ctek, but afyer close inspection, I think they are knock off ctek in steam. Still happy with it, but it's not some life hack for genuine ctek.
