Default Need to find baseboard register/return air grilles

In my current home, I have a 26" x 8" plastic wall/baseboard register/return air grille, similar to below:

For the life of me, I cannot find the proper size anywhere. Home Depot, Canadian Tire and Lowes only carry variations of this in 12x6, 24x6, 24x8, 30x8 etc etc. And most of them are steel. I haven't found a plastic 26x8 anywhere including online.

Has anyone run into a situation like this before? Does any one know where these might be available? There's no way that there isn't a replacement for this thing. Thanks in advance.

I've heard from someone that size is difficult. I think I need one too. In for results.

Yeah my 50s home registers are not made anymore. Runs up the side of the wall. Thought I'd replace them.
Turned out I just wire brushed and got them clean enough. Painted.

Probably cheaper to find locally but Amazon has a listing:

I had the same issue in my rec room as my home was built in the 70s, so finding the replacements in the exact size I needed was difficult. I ended up going with the closest in size and then just removing the baseboard from the one side and chopping it down a bit to make it all fit nice and snug as it was to be.

The grille size is often for the size of the opening, so your measured 26"x8" grille may be the same physical size as the advertised 24"x6" grille.
