1988 Suzuki Samurai Hard top.
Going to give it a 3" lift, winch and fix some rust here and there. Guy says it just needs a throttle cable and battery. (we'll see)
1.3L engine, weighs 2000lbs, good lil huntin unit.

My grandparents had one of these down in Texas; it's what I learned to drive manual on when I was 11 or 12. Love them.
These are the ultimate offroad machines. Looking forward to progress pics!
You better be taking me fishing in that beauty

I watched one of these rescue a Land Rover Defender 90 out of a bog lol
Those little samurais are super capable, remember seeing them in the bush on Vancouver island frequently. Take care of the rust and you're golden.
Rust should be fine. I may take the body off, sandblast, rust proof. Not sure how far i'll take it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Plans to start are:
Getting it running, fluids changed, do a carb swap with a toyota 3K carb. Make sure everything works.
Then SPOA 3.5" lift kit and 31" tires. Front bumper with winch. Stereo, lighting, interior.
Panels can be bought to swap out the rust.

Bought an alternator and a carb rebuild kit. Moving the suzuki from the shop to my garage hopefully this weekend. Wifey gonna shit but it's my garage.
So i'll rebuild carb, install alternator, drain gas and try to fire it up. If it fires then it's game on.

Learned patience and letting the metal cool off between welds.
I'm having thoughts of just replacing the entire body with an aluminum body from a place in Kelowna. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
