Might consider keeping the EFI if it's in good shape, carb for an offroader can be an exercise in frustration. The stock Hitachi unit isn't well-regarded in general. The Toyota 3K is a common upgrade but I've heard complaints on how it handles inclines. The Zuks CV side-draft is potentially the best carb option but more $.

I already have the 1.3L with a Toyota 3K. I think it'll be fine for what i'm doing with it. The efi will be a pain to chase down all the other parts.
