Default How to do disneyWORLD right?

Never been that way, don't know anyone that has. Looking at flights in May, there are no direct flights as far as I can see.

Should I rent a car for this trip or should I Uber everywhere? I'm pretty cheap, not staying anywhere fancy, but close.

We were planning on DW for 2 days, universal for a day, maybe check out a beach or something another day or 2.

Looking for experiences on passes, decent, but not crazy priced food, places to check out and beaches to check out.

    Thank you sirs.

Two days is not enough in DW. I've rented a house in Kissimmee as it's super close by and it seemed like the entire neighbourhood was vacation rentals. Then rent car to get around.
People from Florida who aren't in the Tourism Industry are almost as bad as Arizonans. Truly awful.

Is there a way to track what dates they do that? I tried all my available dates in May with nothing showing direct.

Was there back in 2016 IIRC, so I don't have specific advice for passes, etc., but +1 for spending more than 2 days if at all possible. There is so much to do. Universal is a good one-dayer, but Disney is massive. I think we did 4 days Disney and there was still things we didn't do.

    I would 100% rent a car.

One thing I should mention, my kid will be 15 by then. Doesn't do 4d rides and won't be doing little kiddy rides, im assuming this might make a difference.

That Safari ride and the Everest thing are awesome and your kid will also want the two big Star Wars rides. I don't know if those stunt cars are still there, but that was awesome, too.
There is a horrible website that trolls with fake Disney info about things that have closed & shit. Then geniuses on Facebook run with it to the point that it's mildly difficult to find true data.

I just did google flights, set number of stops to 0 and then select various dates to see. In may it appears it only flies there and back 3 days a week on Fri, Sat, and Sun.

Although last week it went Thurs-Mon and now next week it's only Fri-Mon. So I'm not sure if it's just seasonal changes? Or Westjet is further going to shit.

Ya I agree I totally forgot about that. Space center was really cool, although I recall the Houston space center being better. Had more interactive stuff. You can easily look up what rocket launches are happening (they’re reasonably frequent) and time your visit to coincide with one of those.

If you aren't doing a ton of driving, don't get the transponder thing from the rental place. Even with a trip to the ocean, you are better off just paying the tolls. Even though they add on an administration fee....rentalcar place just bill you direct a couple weeks after you return the car.

Also the space center is around a bunch of nice beach

Ok, so im starting to go through this again. The way I'm looking at it, it seems that to do this right, it will cost me about 1k a day.

We are going for 10 days I think. Probably airbnb, which I've never done but worth a shot. There is a 5 day discount pass at Disney we will likely get, its cheaper than 4.

Has anyone been there lately that has experience in what to avoid and any little tips and tricks for trying to keep the costs down. Was kinda shocked for 3 people its around 10k lol

Yea the mouse eats money lol.

Fly direct, plan the trip around when WJ has direct flights.

I don’t have any specific recommendations for DW aside from if your kid is still in a stroller make sure it’s a slim one as they are pretty picky about enormous strollers and wagons are defs not allowed.

It’s cheaper to go do Disney Tokyo than Disneyworld after all the costs are added up which is crazy.

Is the in-park experience actually cheaper? Is the park unpopular or something?

Ya even if disney Tokyo was free, that wouldn’t be enough for me to take young kids there haha. I would pay a significant premium to not have to fly that far.

Even as a shitpost I don't think I can argue in defence of that concept. And I fucking love to argue.
