@rage2 I see you are buying size 13 AJ1's. How do you find the length on these? I take a size 13 in various brand , including Nike and they all fit perfect. I bought some AJ1's in a 13 and my toes were crunched. I tried 3 different pairs to eliminate any manufacturing errors. Did you have to size up for the Jordans?
I'm actually a size 12 but have very wide feet. For prestos, AJ6's that are more wide feet friendly, I wear Size 12. So yea, I size up for AJ1, AJ2s AJ3s, AF1s one full size. I don't even dare try AJ4's, they're so narrow I need to size up at least 2 sizes which makes them unwearable for me.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The shitty thing about sizing up is the creasing is terrible due to extra length in toe box. And you're not going to be doing anything more than walking in them because it's not the right fit for any meaningful exercise. For actual running, I buy the wide version of runners in 12 to get the correct fit for me.
TL;DR - I size up for all Jordan retros except for AJ6's. Although I've started sizing those up anyways and it's like business class for my feet.

Yep, 100%. Especially as a gift in the winter, by the time spring comes around and they can wear them daily it's the right size. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Something different for my son's birthday this week. Commissioned a local artist to put together a custom sneaker. Started off with a DS pair of AJ1 Heritage GS, repainted the panels to change it to a Chicago colorway, and tooned it. Turned out great!

Good Dad content
Pretty freaking sweet for sure.... I watch some guys YouTube that does similar things with shoes. Watching what he does makes me think they won't last very long if worn regularly.

Kid has to grow into it, probably won't see them on feet this season. You still have a kid in U9 this year?
She said she uses the same paint, dye and acrylic finisher as usual manufacturing processes, and should wear the exact same as a normal sneaker. That said my kids have enough pairs to rotate through where it it's not a daily. Time will tell I guess. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Saw a company called botit on shark tank. Claiming they automate all your purchases. The ceo of fanatics was on there who invested with mark cuban. They say its good for shoes, tee times, concert tickets, sports card etc etc.
At first glance it seems extremely cheap if it works on hard to get items. Suspiciously cheap. Hah.
I'll have to test it on the next concert/event and see how things go.
Could be good for some of you shoe guys.
