I’m not suggesting they hold their hand the whole time. Watching to make sure they aren’t running into traffic would be a good start though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Fair. I'm a little sensitive because some hover-mom gave me shit for not being close enough to my kid at the park once. Because "what if they fall?". I was not amused.
Did you fuck her dad?

In this situation would it be more appropriate to fuck the kid's dad? Then you're still fucking someone's dad but also her husband, kind of a double whammy? Just spit ballin' because, admittedly, I am not as up to speed in dad fucking etiquette as I probably should be.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Yeah, to be fair we had an accident with the daughter when she was like 3. She fell getting up the little climbing wall up to the slide at a kids playground. She fell right on her feet and instant death wail crying. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Unluckily, she broke her talus bone in her foot. That one is especially tricky because it has vascularity that runs through it and bone Necrosis is a thing. I think we’re passed that, but we chat about it with the doc yearly
Silly, eh?
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age."

That'd probably change your perspective. But looking back did you think you could've prevented it by being closer? Or staying home? And in hindsight do you wish you had? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

My 2 y/o was playing at the park last year and it was a bit wet. She was climbing up those little stair / ladder type things and slipped right through them. I almost had an f'in heart attack but thankfully she just bonked her head a bit but had a toque on. Definitely should have been closer to help a 1.5 y/o out on wet slipper stairs. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Thanks to ES reminding me of the dangers.... I will now really helicopter her.
Hey did you know kids aren’t blinking properly anymore due to screen usage from an early age?
