Is that a typo? 100$ per MONTH to park outdoors on the street? Or is it supposed to be per year.

Glad I live in the burbs and have 100 feet of driveway…
Then there's Tuscany, Scenic Acres and the fancy part of Aspen? Or I guess it just follow the train tracks. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Downtown I get. But north of 16th? Stupid. 3 blocks in from the perimeter
oh I’m an idiot. I thought it was per month. Lol. But still $800 for two years for all passes. That still sucks.

We're the first street outside the perimeter... bet our street parking is about to get a lot more popular for the nearby basement renters. :/This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Someone got a petition going to reverse the parking permit plans, already at 5,000 signatures.
For anyone affected or supportive of reversing Walcott's terrible idea, please consider signing:

Here is the thing though street parking in areas like inner-city which lets be honest is where all the griping is coming from is at a premium these days.
Since housing is being in ways that makes it so there are more vehicles parking... one infill as an example could have 2 or 4 cars depending on the build.
Streets can only hold so many cars until there is no room so you either stop driving or pay for the PRIVLEDGE of owning a car and needing a spot.
This is like people who buy into HOA communities then bitch about the HOA issues.
So don’t live in an R2 neighborhood is the answer
