They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

The NW was extremely bad yesterday evening after everything froze up. Even with good tires, 4wd / locking diff and near max load in my truck I still had trouble taking off from red lights. Need studs. On a related note, anybody have a line on rubber horse trailer mats so future studs don’t destroy my garage?
UFA in High River has been the cheapest, but there have been lots on Kijiji lately. We just replaced some in our trailer.

This weather sucks. Its winter, be winter. All that is happening is we are prolonging the sloppy slushy mess for way longer

Got in a minor accident last Thursday in the morning. First accident I caused in over 30 years, so it's a bit of a pisser - especially since I partially blame the lack of maintenance of the parking lot it happened in. Glass-like roadway, with a 7ft mountain of snow plunked right where drivers need to see oncoming traffic. I was trying to look around the pile as I moved into the main roadway, but didn't expect someone to be stopped (and remain stopped) at a stop sign only 3 car lengths immediately following the turn. I started sliding so I honked, but they just sat there. Tried to avoid them but still ended up clipping the corner of their brand new Kia SUV, causing 2-3k in damage.

As much as I (and everyone else) rag on Land Rover, I will say that I'm impressed my vehicle sustained only enough damage to warrant a cut polish. Almost nothing. (Which is especially good, as I just removed collision from it last fall)

Also a good thing I had earned a free accident, as I should be able to move on from this without any out of pocket expenses. Still sucks though.

Based on your stories I would have thought you would have been hoping for a write off

Do you have a link I could pass along to people?

All I can find is this:
    https://www.alberta.ca/emergency-res...ow-trucks.aspx

"The Traffic Safety Amendment Act will require all motorists traveling in the same direction to slow down to at least 60 km/h.

The proposed changes will also require motorists traveling in the opposite direction on single lane highways to slow down to 60 km/h when passing.

Alberta’s Government will conduct an educational campaign for all drivers prior to the anticipated enforcement date of spring 2023."

Quietly announcing that is going to cause so much rage from the people who don't know about it toward the people adhering to it.

Ya cant find a proper press release other then the press release from last year about the bill. ill ask him if he has an actual release or link anywhere or if they're just gonna sneak it out on us (or.. knowing firefighters, just randomly put March 1 on the top of this thing and are spreading it)

The news would pick up on stuff like this once it's official. It's in the interest of responders' safety to notify the public, not be hush-hush about it.
