The Government of Canada has the worst accurate weather forecast in all of Canada, possibly the world. I think they completely use the computer forecast with zero human input. For example, they predict a 10*c difference between Calgary International Airport and Springbank airport the same day. Maybe if a volcano erupts from the airport tunnel Tuesday night.

First snowfall of year in Lower mainland is expected today. Rain snow mix I think. People will shit themselves and crash into moving and stationary objects at random. Hate it.

Divergent weather predictions from government on the week. As always, noone can predict the weather but its been a long time since they have no clue.

We got like 10 to 15cm of wet heavy stuff. Played outside with kid. Fun. It is raining outside right now. If it freezes RIP everyone. I live at elevation, my only access routes in and out of the area involve single lane, steep hills. When things turn to pure ice as the sun sets it gets very scary. Generally crews are on top of things, pre emptively salting it but on a day like today where it is raining and temp is hovering around 0 all of our access routes can instantly turn into skating rinks.
