Albon has been putting in some nice times.

He was looking very solid in Australia before he crashed out and was looking really good before his DNF in Saudi too - he finished 10th in Bahrain and 12th in Baku which is freaking impressive from a Williams even though he's only got 1 point so far this season.

I think it was a great race but the coverage of it kind of sucked. They spent so much time showing the leaders with multi-second gaps between them at the front and missed so many of the battles in the mid-field.

The first 5-race contracts are up so it's going to be another time to spin the dice! Still perhaps some value in AM but Alpine has had a lot of DNFs and bad luck so there value could increase a lot as well, as could McLaren.

The new crop of drivers this year are a real combo of bad driving + shitty cars. Piastri, Devries, Sargeant, all brutal. Sargeant may be the worst.

Albon has 2 DNFs and a 10th, 12th, and 14th place finish. Not great but not bad either considering he's in a Williams. At least they can fight for the mid-pack this year rather than the back.

Piastri isn't driving too badly - his problem is that he's driving a McLaren.

DeVries was looking solid in Baku before he crashed out but otherwise he's been rather lacklustre. Sargeant is the new Mazepin/Latifi but thankfully hasn't taken anyone out nor decided any races by crashing yet so I guess from that perspective, he's better.
