I had Ferrari, Leclerc, Sainz, Ocon, Bottas and Stroll x2 today (couldn't take Alonso or Aston Martin due to contract expiry).

I was expecting a lot more from Bottas given how good he looked in practice and Stroll was just a huge disappointment.

Ocon was a pleasant surprise though!

RBR/Horner saying their car suits fast to medium corners and they'd be a disadvantage at Monaco... Max makes up 2 tenths in the last sector.

Watched qualifying with @kenny and friends in a private theater in India. Of all the qualifying to watch, that was a fucking banger.

    - Freaking Max and that monster last sector
He was actually up 3/10s in previous runs against Alonso. When the s2 gap came up at +0.2 I knew he had a chance if he didn’t fuck it up. Sure enough, made up 3/10ths on Alonso for pole.

From the FIA document, they didn't let him know Lando was coming until he was right behind him, like come on
Great qualifying session though as always in Monaco.

LeClerc's toughest competitor is not Carlos Sainz but Ferrari.

Hats off to RBR for a perfect strategy call for Max at a weather affected Monaco GP.
Was there anything Sergio didn't hit?

The heck was AMR thinking putting for mediums? Also Stroll relapsing to his typical skill level, waste of a good car.

Mike Krack said in the interviews that they didn't expect much rain from their radar.

It didn't make a difference for Alonso in the end so they really lucked out.

Wow buddy of mine just got last minute invite to Barcelona with some big shot euro bankers. Guess the bank business is still okay.

They likely already have tickets reserved and paid for. That was the case when my cousin got invited to Singapore and brought me along.

It's a relatively cheap race to go to but that's still sweet. I would like to know some hot shot Euro Bankers...

Sounds like after the sh*t show it was last year ticket sales haven't been great (it was incredibly hot and the queues for the trains were multiple hours). A friend with a GA ticket was upgraded to a Granstand C Ticket for free yesterday.

I was offered a ticket for the weekend as well but have a Spanish exam so no-can-do this year.

Shitty part is, it's a dry track - yay Spanish bureaucracy.

I'm sure I'll get a review of the experience.

FP1 suggest Alpine has made a real step forward and Monaco wasn't a fluke.

I really enjoyed the Spanish Grand Prix, don’t recall it being prohibitively expensive either.

Nice to have another contender near the top. Im a minority merc fan (I dont have a clear favorite) and I feel a bit bad for them continuing to have other cars improving over them. Hell even bottom feeders Mclaren are coming back

It's hard to get much from FP1 / FP2. Most teams are testing new set-ups/parts and there's also Pirelli tire testing going on.

Drivers were also messing around with fuel loads A LOT.

I only watch FP hoping to get an edge for Grid Rivals but learned nothing. We'll see how FP3 goes today...
