The start area is probably the closest to any real residential areas. Otherwise, it's mostly hotels, motels and vacation rentals. I imagine most of those guests know what they were getting into when they booked.

I don't think anyone expected FP2 to be delayed by 2.5 hours (especially not the Thursday ticket holders who only saw 5 minutes of practice in FP1 )

I think I checked out of this season a few races ago. Realizing that how excited I used to be and look forward to the race weekends earlier in the season and now I didn't even bother watching the Vegas quail. It's sad how bad Merc/Ham has gotten and that's making me depressed enough to not even bother watching it. Haha.

The WDC hasn't been exciting but it's been a great battle behind RBR.

The battle for 4th in the drivers is very close between Sainz, Alonso, Norris, and Leclerc and the Constructor's battle for 2nd (Mercedes/Ferrari) and 4th (Mclaren/AM) is also close. A DNF could really mix things up!

This. I’ve been ignoring max in the results and it’s a terrific season. Tight battles everywhere. I think someone on Reddit tracks the championship excluding max as well race to race.

I really want Andretti to pull a Brawn and absolutely destroy the field just to give a middle finger to FOM. My understanding is since they haven't been accepted yet they technically are not under any kind of aero restrictions or budget caps as of yet.
