I don't know why people have AMR so high. Even if their car is fast, they still have Stroll who is a below average driver, that will take himself out of races with bonehead moves.
1. RBR
2/3 Merc/Ferrari (I see them being equal)
4. Alpine
5. Alfa Romeo
6. AMR
7. McLaren

True and as always, this is just pre-season testing stuff so take it with a grain of salt. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
To me, if ALO can still cut it and the AMR is as good as it is, it could be enough to carry Lance's cock ups to compete against Alpine.
I actually think if Lance is in a competitive car he could be a more focused and better driver. Often, it seems like he just gets bored in the mid-pack and does stupid crap.
Turkey 2019 or 2020 changed my opinion of stroll. He’s not terrible, he’s bottom 5 probably. But he can put in some good performances. Alonso should beat him 9/10 though
I am going to base my prediction on a bit of wishful thinking and go:
1. Merc
2. RBR
3. Ferrari
4. Alfa Romeo
5. AMR
6. Alpine
7. McLaren
8. Alpha Tauri
9. Haas
10. Williams
I did that just to push Ferrari down lol. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
But in the longer runs in testing AMR was better than Ferrari, coupled with Ferrari pit/strategy fuck ups and Alonso tire savings could make it true.
Where do I put Ford again?

Can we bet on the average reading comprehension level of Mercedes fans instead? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I hate long term bets. I think an AMR will finish ahead of a Merc in race #1 is a better bet.
I hope Mercedes does poorly enough for them to ditch the zero pod idea finally. Safe to say that side pod designs have played important roles in advancement for RBR, AMR and Ferrari.
A part of me also wants Vettel to sit in for Stroll while his wrist heals so we can see Vettel vs Alonso in the same machinery.
Did you miss the part where I said "or thinks Stroll won't cost them places". I was referring to you thinking Stroll is actually someone who belongs in F1.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Getting bored and doing stupid things would be the mark of a driver that is not cut out for F1, not someone who needs a better carThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
There's no shortage of delusional MB fanboys.
Where did I say he wouldn't?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If you could read as well as Stroll can drive, we wouldn't have a problem here
I'd put Gasly, Tsunoda, Perez, Sainz, Zhou, and LeClerc on that list too then - they've all made their share of unforced errors. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Let's not forget about Lulu whining through last season and even wanting to retire the car rather than fight for places in a lot of races. I'd argue that's even worse than getting in a rhythm and forgetting to check your mirrors...
My predictions. I put AMR a bit lower because Stroll is not going to take this car into the points consistently.
