Apparently they tried to appeal but was denied as there’s no framework in the regulations to allow an exception.

Also F1 seems to have royally fucked this race up so far. FP2 was delayed 2 hours due to the repairs then they ended up closing the stands and kicking all the fans out before the session began due to not having staff to keep the facility open for fans. People got all of 9 minutes of track viewing today.

This is fucking stupid, FIA are a bunch of retards. But we've all known that since the fuckery that was pulled in 2021.

Those fans ought to be pissed off and do soemthing about it as they are likely the ones that paid thousands to get a jump on the tickets for this shit show of a 'race'.
