"temporarily capped the number of packs of tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers to three per customer"

Eggs are expensive, but not capped.

Brexit was all about people romanticizing the past, so getting a post-war experience is a feature, not a bug.

Brexit was about sovereignty. Not letting a cabal of European central bankers run and plan a sovereign nations economy, and dictate border policy.

No disagreement that's what people thought they were getting. How's it working out for them?

Takes time to defeat the cabal. They'll get there.

My parents grew up in post-war Britain. My mom remembers playing in the bomb craters around her city, which weren't fully repaired for years. Two things they remember, eating whatever vegetables they could get thier hands on. Turnips, Rutabagas, which my dad always called a swede, and the fact that they had sugar rationing for a pretty long time, so deserts were really rare.

Britain has relied heavily on imports for fruit an vegetable since forever. It's a brittle system.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?
