Season Preview
Podiums last year were dominated by Alvaro Bautista, Toprak Razgatlioglu and Jonathan Rea, with Bautista coming out on top. The BMWs and Hondas struggled to keep pace with the KRT Kawasakis and the Ducatis so hopefully this year they've made enough changes to fight for podiums and wins. The rookie class is quite stout, with Dominique Aegerter and Lorenzo Baldassarri moving up from WorldSSP, Remy Gardner moving to WSBK from MotoGP after famously losing his ride at KTM, Danilo Petrucci coming over after a year in MotoAmerica and Eric Granado in MotoE. Tom Sykes also returns to the series after a season in British Superbikes. Garrett Gerloff moves over to BMW after riding for Yamaha last year.
Race Schedule
Practice is on Friday. Qualifying is on Saturday. Race 1 is on Saturday. The Superpole race, which is like a half-distance sprint race to set the starting order for Race 2, is Saturday and Race 2 follows.
How to Watch
