    Default What are you reading?

Since we have a what are you watching and what are you listening to threads, I thought why not start one for the readers among us. Read any good books lately? What are you currently reading?

I'm not a consistent reader. For me it goes in phases. I can go months or years not reading anything, and then alternatively go back to back to back on several novels before again taking a break. It just depends on mood and how much something interests me. (I don't count car magazines and browsing websites and wikis here, just novels... fiction or non-fiction).

I'm currently reading God Emperor of Dune by Frank Herbert, the 4th novel in his series. I'd read each of the first three in the series twice over the last 10-15 years, but this is my first time continuing on to the 4th. So far, compared to the 3rd book Children of Dune which felt like a slog at times, this one feels like an easier read, so far.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

I usually read only one or two "time-wasting" books per year, while on vacay. This was my most recent one, and it was awesome. Quick read, it only took me ~4h, but it was so good. It was a sci-fi thriller (although light enough on the sci-fi that it should be pretty broadly appealing). I've read everything by Michael Crichton, and this book reminded me a lot of his better ones, so if you like that type of thing, this is worth a shot.
