Default where to find 2 stroke fuel for a good deal

So I'm a climate hating bastard and have a 2 stroke chain saw and 2 stroke leaf blower. With the change to E85 I bought a pack of TruFuel pre-mix. I'm pretty impressed with it. However the best price I found, Amazon, was ~$7.50 a liter. Does anyone know of a cheaper place that that? I know paying the premium is going to happen but 4 - 5x is a bit steep.

Where do you suggest on buying ethanol free fuel? The pre-mix stuff eliminates that part.

Is ethanol actually lethal to 2-stroke engines? Or old wife's tale?

Ethanol eats away at rubber lines and causes mixing issues with the oil.
I use the Shell V power for my 2 stroke engines but I think there's a slight bit of ethanol in it now... someone correct me if I'm wrong

If by slight you mean it’s full of it then yes

Im not 100% sure but since my stuff sits a lot as well (lawn mower, snow blower, leaf blower, etc). I've always used ethanol free to stop buildup in the carb bowls. Could also be placebo but I swear they run better.

Yes there is no more ethanol free fuel in Calgary that I am aware of. It used to be COOP, Costco, and Shell. Now it is nothing.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Ah makes sense to try and avoid ethanol for stuff that sits a lot or for "storage fuel". I get it.
I have a buddy who puts seafoam in all his equipment for "cinditioning and storage" and doesn't vary the mix through the year. Don't know if that counteracts the ethanol stuff.

GE used to let us buy that stuff back in the day

You could probably make a pretty penny selling it to guys on here if your mob allows it

Yeah also not sure if you can use seafoam on 2 stroke (might be a dumb statement, never checked and sure a quick google could tell me). So my lawnmower and snow blower would be fine with it, but the other 2 strokers... dunno.

Yeah it's pretty much an old boat mechanic's trick for cleaning out gummed up carbs and what not. We used to use it on honda 4-cylinders. 1/3 bottle in the gas tank, 1/3 bottle mixed in the crankcase oil, 1/3 misted in under high idle to the throttle body/intake. Smokes like f'n crazy. keep it at high idle till the smoke dissipates then change oil and your good to go.
