Unless the 78 was a complete and utter bed-shitting score, it'll be a waste of time haha. I play with a guy who's a +2 and regularly shoots in the 60s, and he still didn't make it through the RBC pre-qualifier last week.
Scratch golf on normal public courses is basically the worst you can be before any pro tourney is worthwhile.

lol I see. I find golf more enjoyable when I'm playing well, some just crush beers all day. Don't matter to me if you aren't holding up pace or becoming belligerent. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Mid/High 70's for a weekend golfer won't get you anywhere near the tour, there are crazy good golfers out there who shoot par without even breaking a sweat.
Coupe coupe's again. Thinking scratch golfers on regular muni courses can compete with pros. Smart guy. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
If you haven't tried these......do it. Holy Shit are they awesome

Considering changing up the driver, however I'd like to keep my current shaft. How do I figure out if the head is adaptable to X model driver head?
Shaft tip diameter is all you need, for drivers will typically be .335 or .350, make sure that fits the driver head and you're good. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Stay within the brand, and if it's an adjustable driver, the tip will fit (unless it's ancient). Titleist and Taylormade haven't changed their tips for like a decade. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Put down an 86 at McKenzie Meadows the other day. One of my better rounds. I just need to shave 8 strokes and I can go on the 89coupe Pro Tour
Haven't golfed a real course in several years, and now I have a date at Mickelson next week. Better get some practice in.

It was crazy sparse last I checked.
