Played Glen Eagles last night for twilight rate. That is a nice course. It was in pretty bad shape though. Got all 18 holes in .last 3 were near impossible to see due to darkness.

I’ve had some really enjoyable rounds there, it’s my go-to in the shoulder seasons when my course closes. The condition of the course is hit and miss - they prioritize lengthening their season over preserving the course, so it results in mediocre quality some years/times of year.
Played Springbank Links on Friday, what a terrible course layout/hole design.
Interesting, I really like that course/layoutThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

What's the over/under on how many balls I'll lose tomorrow at Mickelson? Haven't played a legit course in years.

3, not many holes to lose balls on.
Played "The Rise" in Vernon the other day.
Beautiful course, a little gimmicky, blind tee shots are the dumbest thing ever.
Yeah, the The Rise is a nice course to ride a golf cart around, but pretty frustrating to play for the first time. Even playing with a member there that was giving us aim points and stuff, there's so many blind shots, it gets a little tiresome. 100% very gimmicky, as evidenced by the fact that I hit my tee shot (from the back tees) on the "driveable par 4" to about 4'... and I used a hybrid.
Wintergreen is in good shape and not very busy during the week
Love wintergreen. Great course ^^
I played Silver Springs last week for the first time in 10 years. I forgot how many blind shots were there. I still liked it.

Had a great day, several good drives, didn't embarrass myself.
The course still needs time to mature. Lots of GUR, lots of brown dead grass in the rough. Trees are tiny. But will be fine.

The Rise is a great track. Haven't played it in years but really loved it in the past. Gonna be visiting my Dad in Vernon next month, might have to check it out again.

BDR finally won again. Shame he shit the bed at the open, but nice to see him pull one off.
That put expression says it all. I don't care too much about one person over another - but it was nice to see him do it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm playing River Spirit Golf on Monday with our marketing company. Haven't played anything along Hwy 8 except Elbow Springs. Looking forward to adding one more.
