Totally, good to know the contact and you never know I bet most pros are happy to do some cash lessons on their off days.

Used to get lessons from the pro at Pinebrook (believe he is at Glencoe now) and we could always make a time work.

Been hunting for one of these since the launch, have been sold out in Canada.

Garmin website got some inventory this AM so pulled the trigger.

For some reason this I can justify but an Apple Watch or other kind of smartwatch I can’t haha

Also for some reason I spend money on this over things that would actually help my golf game, like lessons or a fitting.
    $1000 golf watch holy shit.

I'll stick with my $60/year golfshot pro app, plus I hate wearing watches when golfing.

I've never taken lessons since I was a junior starting out. I get my tips from youtube after i plug in what I want to fix. I'm a 10ish cap, just need more practice to improve consistency. Becoming a scratch golfer doesn't sound fun, makes golf too easy.

Inflation is a bitch. I get a lot of use out of my S20 so this is a worthy upgrade for me.

This has a ton of updates that make it more of an everyday smartwatch than the old flagship Garmin golf watches used to be.

It’s actually basically a cheaper Fenix 7 under the hood.

    Yeah he was good.

Pinebrook seems to be a stepping stone to the higher-tier private clubs haha. We lose our best pros after 2-3 seasons.

Our ratio is around the same. Our head pro is a woman… one of my friends played with her one time and apparently she’s a hack lol. Oh well, all I care about is her giving me the tee times I want.

Anyone know a decent female beginners coach?

My wife has apparently decided she wants to golf… and she said she wanted a female instructor.
Sent you PM for female golf pro.

Golf weekend with some of the guys from work. 8th year for me, 15th year for the event. 6 rounds in 4 days plus the drive to Cranbrook was a bit much on my knee but was a great weekend.

Hahaha I bet all of the golfer's who held out protesting LIV and their giant contracts are kicking themselves in the ass now.

At the end of the day, money will always win.

Gorgeous course. Played the first time there last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it even though it was challenging based on my skill level.
I like it better than Kananaskis.
A bit of a cart ride to the driving range.
Watch out for black bears, spotted three while I was there. Marshall said he chased out 12 the day before.
