You forgot to tell us how far you hit your driver.

On an unrelated note, what kind of psychopath doesn't have a headcover on their putter?

It’s an old blade I’ve had for 20 years, refuse to replace it.

A gentle swing, working on getting my ball swing speed up to 120mph and my ball speed up to 180MPH.

    Slowly getting there.

    Ooof, easy there Rahm.

What made you go with Callaway, did you hit other brands?

I’m obsessed, I’m usually at the dome 3-4 times a week over the winter. Once the range opens up I’ll be there almost every day.

Does glencoe not have sims? We have a GC quad and GC Hawk. I’d much rather practise on a good sim than in a dome.

I'm just glad 'coupe gets a little time for himself once in a while.

They do, but I like to see ball flight.

I usually hit for an hour and then another hour on the sim. The Macleod Trail dome has Full Swing sims.

Plus my instructor works out of the dome.

Rookie numbers, but the low efficiency was common to me as well when I tested the Paradym TD.

    Impressive numbers
That above example was my old driver Callaway Epic with a White tie X.

I haven’t hit my new driver on the SIM yet.
My younger years I was around 120mph club head speed but old age has wreaked havoc on my back.
Physio and a lot of hip stretches are helping though. I’m confident I can get back up there. My best number this year so far was 291 carry 308 total. 114.5mph club speed & 167mph ball speed. I’m hoping the new shaft will get my backspin lower, around 2100.

What driver and shaft are you using?

Bought the Paradym TD to try something new, but ultimately did not spin enough after more testing. Went with the TSR3 with Tensei 1k Orange TX which was probably the better driver for me in my fitting but I wanted to give something else I shot (TSi3 w/ a Tensei 1k White TX). Better efficiency (could never get over 1.42 with the Callaway), more consistent spin and looks better - the Paradym is awful to look at from address.

Cherry picking a shot, but the Titleist gives me a shot to maximize ball speed. I was 3-5 mph slower but with a much better result.

Interesting, I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Titleist. Were you able to return the Callaway or stuck with two $1200 drivers lol

I’m surprised you weren’t getting better smash factors with your speed. Do you ever use the foot powder to see exactly where you are hitting on the face?

Where do you hit at, I love all the numbers your setup displays.

You should see where that baby fade goes when he’s having an off day.

I’m not one to talk though, my glory days numbers from a few years ago are like coupes today. I have a hard time breaking 105chs these days.

I'm stoked for this season. Are the callaway wedges the one with the Raw finish, rust over time? What made you go with those?

I've got some warmup lessons and sessions booked for the next couple weeks, looking forward to getting back into it.

Was able to return the Paradym because it had some quality control issues with it before I started hitting it. I bought each with a stock shaft, and picked up the Tensei 1k from The Peoples Club because TXG wanted $500+ for the shaft alone. The shaft I was fitted for, is the same for both drivers so I will just need the adapter to be swapped. But yes, if I didn't have good connections, I'd be screwed. All the testing was done with those tracking dots on my drivers, but I don't ever use foot spray. I got fitted at TXG, so it's the Foresight data/graphics.

@vengie It was TSR3 numbers not TSi3 (that's my old gamer). But all the sessions was done using a TP5x which is my gamer ball.
