Check out burnco in Balzac. I picked up a stone kit a few years ago for like $200 or so. Super easy to install, just need a shovel, sand, and some rock. Price has probably gone up to $350 these days but they look decent compared to a rusty piece of metal.

It's weird how different people have varying tastes. I think the burn of kits, and most stone/brick kits, look shitty.

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

I’ve got a 42” pipe style one with a split grate I can pivot over the pit to cook. It was at our acreage when we moved in. Probably one of the most used items at our place.

One man's 'trashy' is another man's 'rustic'. This mostly applies to firepits and first dates, but not exclusively.
