Is this supposed to be good? The last Zelda I played was a link to the past. Loved getting that gold sword

Yes this is supposed to be good, successor to Breath of the Wild. If you haven't played since a link to the past, which is a good stretch lol, you'd find this to be much different than what you've played. Just in regard to weapons breaking and the food/recipe aspect. I'd recommend playing breath of the wild first as it's a great game as well.

In a perfect world i'd love to catch up on all the games I missed, but I won't have time to do that for maybe... 20 years.

    Gyad damn it!

Breath of the wild was stuck on graphics of Wii U. Now this is releasing at the tail end of Switch's life. It's almost like Nintendo want us to buy this twice.

Makes me wonder, if you buy from their online store, do the games carry over from one console to another? As in if you buy a game through their store for Switch, will it be available on whatever the next console release of theirs is?

I got hosed on Mario Kart from buying it for Wii U and then moving to a switch. Would also make me start buying digitally explicitly if that's the case.

    Anyone on here know?

Nintendos bread and butter is getting you to keep rebuying the same game multiple times.

So I wouldn’t hold your breath.
