    Default Gait analysis recommendations?

Anyone tried gait analysis want to recommend a good on they've done around town? I like to mix in a lot of cardio in workouts and knee is starting to ache a bit. Not sure exactly what the problem is but feel like gait analysis wouldn't hurt and/or make my running more efficient. Is it covered under insurance if I get my doc to write a referral? How much does it typically cost? TIA

A long way from a proper expert, but have you tried getting shoes from one off the fancy stores that insist on looking at your gait before suggesting shoes?

Running Clinic at the UofC. Been there for injury and health assessments, and as a research participant. Great team there.

Browsed them after a google search earlier. Was it a doctor's referral or out of pocket? I don't actually have an injury. Knee just feels kinda weird. Looking for a quick professional assessment.

Physio or sports therapist could also provide insight. Call around and find one that is a runner themselves and deals specifically with athletes.

Opposite of how I pick my physio, since I ask for one that's fat and sedate....

You realize you are talking to the guy who made his own furniture out of salad bowls right?

Some was referral, some wasn't. I'd email them and describe your situation.
