Oh you know just almost making me rear end people because they surge on braking, almost stalling when i come to a stop, lots of loud clunky downshifts.... (2022 1500) need an oil change soon ill complain again. last time their "fix" did nothing lol. I should just get a TRX ffs.

The ZF8 is great (I have one in my 2014 X5D) but in the Rams they seem to be more problem prone and have worse calibration than in other vehicles. I’ve seen lots with shuddering in the 2-3 3-4 upshifts, overheating when the truck is unloaded at highway speeds, and weird downshifts and surging at low speeds seems to be fairly common with them.

Dodge/Chrysler whatever they self identity as today has always had the discount bin software engineers of the auto industry. Hardware is usually good.

It needs a weekend of teenager driving. Seriously, lots of full throttle up shifts and downshifts. Treat it like a Dodge or it will never know its place.

The tungsten seems like the truck every professional athlete will buy as a side vehicle.

The more I6TT engines that sell in the world, the better I like it.

A Stellantis twin turbo L6 might have some reliability concerns. But it’s a beast that’s for sure. Anything’s better than the cam eating Hemis at this point. Right now the only reliable engine in a Ram is the 3.6 Pentastar V6.

Is there a shop in the city that can do the Fuel Pump Relay replacement for a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 ?

I had been using an add-a-circuit to feed the pump from another source for a year or so now but it melted today and almost left me in the middle of Deerfoot.

There is an external relay replacement that gets spliced into the wiring harness and another option where they crack open the TIPM and replace it on the board itself.

Looking for options again to get a few more years out of this one...

    Thanks.
Not sure if you had this fixed up but I have been using Courtney Automotive for my charger and my F150 for about 5+ years now and no issues. Just ask for Dave and say Mike with the blue charger sent you over. He has been honest with me and they do work on some cool old school and more modern vehicles.

Looks good on paper I guess, but until I can full charge in 15 minutes or less and there are as many charging stations as gas stations, anything fully electric is a no-go for me.

Edit: Reading > Me. My statement still stands, albeit not related to this truck.

It’s not fully electric, it’s a range extending hybrid.

There's a few fixes on that I6 TT that need the body off on the Wagoneer

It supposed to be 663 hp electric with a 3.6L 130 kW on-board charger. Plug-in chargeable and 1000+ km range. Me likey. (and no Dodge gearbox for you naysayers). Could drive around and charge stranded Tesla owners $150 to fast charge them on the side of the road. For Alberta they need a deleted diesel version, would sell thousands here.

Benz has a diesel PHEV powertrain. Hasn't reached out shores unfortunately.

    It makes perfect sense.

If Ram could have made the range extender diesel, it would be gross efficient. But with the pentastar as the extender, this is a good EV in theory.

still, could have been like a locomotive with diesel haha.
