Ordered myself a Tazer DT; primarily for the benefit of auto-folding power mirrors and getting rid of the annoying 22+ 3-honk alert that signals every time you step out of the vehicle with it running.

Some of the PIN-lock features and functionalities seem very sensible.

What year is everyone driving? My transmission seriously kinda sucks, super clunky between gears, surges forward when im slowing down sometimes... The truck seems to almost die coming to a stop sometimes.

its a '22 with a 5.7 with an 8 speed i believe.. no etorque or anything. Need to get an oil change, retired from doing them myself when they put the filter above the rack.. might ask if they can flash/update my transmission software, is that thing?

2010 here so I have the basic 6 speed. Been running a trans tune on mine for years now with the line pressure increased. Thankfully no issues so far.

Surely there must be a relearn thing for the transmission.

The relearn is basically rowing through the gears manually up and down with a fully warmed up transmission. Simple to perform yourself. I have a ‘14 with the 8-speed. It’s been flawless other than my first trip into the city with it bringing my first kid in for delivery. Stopped at the traffic light at COP and it lunged forward 10ft into the red light.

Being a Dodge you need to drive it hard to maintain your dominance, else it will sense your weakness and challenge you for control.

Thanks a million 93 SR-V! It quite literally seemed to be the only rack in North America for whatever reason. All the dudes in the shop were shocked in disbelief when I rolled in with it haha.

Is there a shop in the city that can do the Fuel Pump Relay replacement for a 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 ?

I had been using an add-a-circuit to feed the pump from another source for a year or so now but it melted today and almost left me in the middle of Deerfoot.

There is an external relay replacement that gets spliced into the wiring harness and another option where they crack open the TIPM and replace it on the board itself.

Looking for options again to get a few more years out of this one...

What’s wrong with the ZF 8-speeds? They were the single biggest improvement to 1/2 ton pickups (all makes) when they first came out 11 years ago.

My 2014 has also be flawless with a trailer hooked to the truck the last 10 years.
