$127k for a 1/2 ton commuter? Fucking hell, I'm going to be driving my $39k 2014 model until year 2080.

Yeah, everything is absurdly expensive these days.
I wanted to drive my 2016 to the ground but have put about $15k into maintenance over the last 3 years. Think it’s time to move onto something carefree and even the base cars start around $70k..
I feel like the I6TT is an awesome engine. Don't know much about the vehicle that's around it.

I’m not too keen on the raptor, my ram has been good to me so I’ll just keep on trucking.
Pardon my ignorance but can you not get 35s as dedicated winters? I’ve never messed around with modifying a truck and primarily use my truck deep in the mountains so the traction is important.
@tirebob can hook you up with "deep in the mountains dedicated winter tires" I'm certain.

Can't wait to hear your experiences with the new RHO, hope you get it! I personally think they look awesome in and out.
On paper it sure is. I have to take the family hauler in for service, I think I'll test drive one just to see what it's like. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Pretty sure Nokian does 33’s but they would look so weird on those trucks. Anything but a reasonable aggressive tread would look funny. I’m picky about my tread patterns/offsets etc lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I had the I6TT in a rental RAM and a Wagoneer (Jeep gets the HO if I'm not mistaken?), also had a HEMI Wagoneer in the states a while back
It's fast feeling for sure, definitely more so than the Ecoboost HO...but the Ford has it beat for mileage.
Power delivery was nice and smooth, didn't feel like much turbo lag...i guess with the HEMI going out there was a need to try and appease the "V8 for instant power" crew
Reliability will be the key factor I assume, RAM seems to have this notorious name for being heavily unreliable but that could just be internet propaganda
The JEEP was a nice package overall, but I couldn't fathom spending that sort of money on a Chrysler product myself...it's cheaper with the HEMI, but you sacrifice your power and mileage to get that, seems like a pointless option imo

I wouldn't want to be an early adopter on a new ram engine.
I have a tremor, love the balance between off road and usability

But I would have definitely picked this if it was in the budget

That’s what I’m talking about that color is so good. Makes me not want a black truck.
Amen to that...looks so nice polished up in the sunThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

GM had a nice one like that but discontinued it on the half tons I think… Bronze Metallic.
Grandfather green
Old farts
1st year engine / combo was a hard no for me when I was looking.
That stupid Dial shifter as well.
Should be a few 2024 Hemis left around. Get the GT package so you get a real shifter. (Physically anyways...)
