To answer ES's original question I have never been there where we have had to wait anywhere near the time you mentioned. I took the wife there once in Feb on a saturday night and got in right away and I took the whole family went on a Sunday night in late April and waited for 10 minutes. I've also been there on bike night and when sitting on the patio it was fine, it might have just taken the waitress a few mins longer to top up on drinks but nothing crazy.

Food is decent, nothing to write home about and its definitely not winning any competition but if you want meat done on a BBQ that you aren't cooking then it does the trick. Its a nice change up from regular pub or restaurant food however its not as good as any of the 'Blocks' and I think Big T's is better so I guess that makes it 5th best BBQ place in Calgary + surrounding area?

Been a few times, never any crazy waits. Food is pretty good and a nice change from some random pub grub. We usually end up there after golfing at Darcy.

It's pricey but it's not bad. I liked it. The poppers are really good there.

Montanas is the worst garbage you can get, followed by the driest crap ever, Big-Ts. Montanas could be decent but the poorly trained staff are the ones who ruin it. How can you fuck up a franchise so bad.

Montana's is still my favourite spot to bring kids - drink a 23 oz coors while the kids draw on the table and destroy the place
