Smashing Pumpkins live < literally anyone else, ever.

    Fight me.
I left early when they were closing a festival and enjoyed the lack of traffic. I also saw them on their "Contractual Obligation Tour" where they trés intelligenté decided to break up a week before the tour started (again festival) and were forced to fake their way through it. I got close enough to point and laugh at them for that one. So bad... So, so bad.

Forgot about Boxcar Racer. Awesome stuff.

The industry back then was doing some stupid shit tho, just as they are now. I remember Mark Hoppus talking about Take off your pants and jacket album and it was basically finished. Label execs listened to it and decided there wasn't anything pop enough on the album so they made them come up with The Rock Show and First Date I think. He also said that most of the big radio hits aren't even blinks best songs.

I saw Sum 41 at MacEwan Hall back in 2016. They always put on a great live show. Also saw Angels and Airwaves there as well. They had probably the best lighting of any show I've been too.
