Anyone doing CBE Learn for their child/ren?
If so, what did you think of it? If you had a choice, would you let them learn online or attend school?

I can give you perspective from the teacher side of things if you're interested...
My wife taught for CBE learn for two years.
Community, interaction with other students their age are pivotal and a big part of going to school and making memories.
Depends largely on the kid too... My daughter was primarily doing online classes and she had a real hard time with it, but her last year in high school when we moved to a small town and she was in normal classes with teachers that gave a shit, she had the best year she has ever had in school and gave her a direction in life and ended up going to college when before that she was not interested in going. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Thanks everyone. My 2 boys did CBE Learn for 3 years and now they'll be going to school so I wanted to know if kids learn more from online vs actually being in school.

If you are socially regarded because you had limited exposure, them it makes the working world a tough place to navigate.

I can comment since my two child a son grade 5-7 and my daughter grade 8-10 did 2.5 years of CBE-learn. This fall I will be putting them back to in-person learning. They get to stay home before because the mother doesnt work and it is definitely nice not having to worry about transportation during the winter. At the end what I noticed was that, it does come down to the child. My daughter was very independent and went thru two grades without having any issues, in fact her teachers says she was actually performing quite well against her peers in an environment where most struggle. My son on the hand, gets distracted quite easily and cannot focus so he is barely getting thru. (it could also be a gender thing as girls are typically more mature than boys when it comes to paying attention in class)
One point though, it does strengthens our bond as a family / unit. My children became much closer to my wife and I as a results of studying online school because they are not being influenced from others as much. I know eventually they have to go back before losing all of their social skills because there are just something they can only learn by being with people.
I dont know if this answers your questions though
