    Default WTB: Film Camera

    Anyone else unloading an older film camera let me know. Have kids getting interested in photography and one legit told me they wanted to buy a polaroid. Fucking buck a pic, gross.

    35mm or polaroid/instax camera?

    i have a minolta 35mm SLR that your kid can have, might need new batteries.

    Yeah I'd prefer regular film, 35mm, not polaroid. Pm incoming.

    Didn't see this until now @ExtraSlow , are you still looking? I have a Pentax K1000 kit I'd be happy to part with.

    Two beyong members have given my some gear and I haven't even gone through it all yet. Although I did use a K1000 extensively in high school shooting for the yearbook. Those were good times. Did all our own darkroom work too. Wish I still had access to those facilities and supplies!

    If you want to mess around with film developing, I've probably got a Paterson tank you can have - I'll have a dig through the darkroom.

    @BerserkerCatSplat I heard from TCS that Kodak has stopped producing HC-110.

    Shoot, that's news to me. I last bought a bottle just before they reformulated in 2019 to the thinner stuff and hadn't needed any since... guess that will have to last me. There's some HC-110 clones out there but no idea if we can get them in Canada.

    On the upside, when the apocalypse comes, the surviving cockroaches can still develop with Rodinal.
