Haha. I just install them the easy/shitty way of plug and play with wire hanging down. I hate it but for the exact reason you mention can't have them hardwired each time. lolThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Contigo Mug > Yeti Mug

That's power station porn, you have less than 8 hours to make the correct decision. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Contigo won't spill but they suck balls to clean, even the newer style ones. I'll never go back after pulling out a thin slime ring hidden inside of my last one after several hand & dishwasher cycles. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yeti magnetic lid 4 life. Pop that little bitch off & you're in clean-town baby. Price on them is silly though. Luckily the PPE/Tint place down here sells them & I procured mine for cost via my sister.

Does anyone else find the cool hip branding of a "solar generator" hilarious when the basic item is neither solar not a generator? Just me?

I grabbed a few off warehouse deals, I'll admit it - they're one thing that are worth the extra $. The cheap knockoffs definitely aren't comparable. (and that includes my ltt water bottle)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Not just you, it bothers me too. The correct term should be more along the lines of "multi-function energy storage unit".This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yea it's pretty silly. Isn't it just a battery with a little solar panel? Or am I missing something. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
The Yeti lids are easier to clean but the whole point of a lid is so they don't spill. Mine is basically an overpriced desk mug because the lid is fucking useless. Thankfully got it on sale at Sporting Life awhile back.

It's a battery with an inverter and a bunch of outlets and battery protection. Solar is one of the charging input options, sold separately. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I resisted the urge, mostly to prevent the flak from the other half. I do admit that it was a really good deal though. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yeah it's a battery and inverter.
Need gas generator or a fucking huge solar panel to charge it. Power input is still a limiting factor.
