Would you happen to know what 'Multi-Terrain Select' accomplishes? Other than speakers and a bigger screen, MTS is makes the 'Land Cruiser' trim worthwhile.

The 1958 trim seems to be well packaged as an entry-level version. Fuck moonroof

Had MTS on my 4Runner and my wife has it on her highlander right now. If you have a lead foot with no throttle control it's worthwhile, otherwise it's meh.

Heres something that will piss some people off:
The Tacoma TRD Pro and TrailHunter utilize the same engine as the LandCruiser and are set up for regular fuel. In the newly posted Owners Manual for the LC, it somehow requires premium. Exact same engine, exact same rated specs, just pay more for gas!

Though I recall back in the day my FJ cruiser asked for 89, is that common for Toyotas?

There were a few model years of the FJ that required premium, and Toyota fixed that after a year or two and downgraded to regular.

My guess? The LC/GX platforms fuel economy is just that bad that they need to run a different tune to meet their EPA fuel economy numbers.

Meanwhile Tacoma iForce Max is ~27mpg combined.

Honda/BMW/Mercedes is no show and everyone got a small ass floor footprint. Whoever shows up, I can't see they bring many cars.
