    110k for exec, 105 for OT+

    Pretty in line with expectations.

I don’t want to have to pick as there are things I like on both trims that are exclusive…

    Happy New Year

Is it the same quality as legacy Toyotas?

I find many new vehicles even Dodge trucks to be very good quality now..

No it's probably more on par with current Toyota vehicles. Which is one or two steps down from that.

Oh in that case, Considering it’s a hybrid I doubt it.

Will it outlast a dodge? Almost certainly.

Looks like iot got taken down.. picture on the site shows new GX, but when you click to build it reverts back to the 2023.

At $105 for the Overtrail, it looks like I made the right decision going the Land Cruiser route. (Untill the price is released and shocks me) I didnt want 3rd row seating and really preferred the Overtrail options. Canada got too good of a deal on the outgoing model considering exchange rate etc.

You just need to click 2024 again on the configurator.

I wonder what the estimate is for delivery on the 2024s - anyone have any intel? When we retire our ZR2 the GX, LX, Armada, Yukon/Tahoe are contenders. I really like the tan interior option with the 24 GX, unfortunate there is few trims that offer it. Lexus has been great for me, just a couple very small issues with our current car, and way back in the day my LS400 was similar, absolutely bullet proof, so I'd prefer to stay in the Lexus brand, but I don't want to wait 2 years for an ordered GX to show up either.

    No intel.

Assembly line has been going since mid-early December and ramping up.

No idea what lead time that implies.

Completely missed that, thanks! Overtrails at 95 and 105.. out of my price range.

Last I checked (many months ago) Calgary Lexus had a wait list of over 50 deposits.. cant imagine you get through that in the first year. Then again I bet a bunch drop of as well.

Id love for the Land Cruiser to top out at 75-80.. but that may be wishful thinking. Sequioas start at $84, and 4runners top out at $70, so there is a 15k gap they would fit nicely into without much overlap.

Apparently US Land Cruiser pricing starts at “mid 55k” compared to GX at $64,250 USD.

I’d say expect LC prices to start at $75k CAD based on a similar delta. If you want a loaded one it’s going to cost a lot more imo.

Our dollar is in the shitter.

That 10k difference is pretty small considering the cheap LC is cloth, manual seats, steelies, bare bones etc.. even the entry GX is pretty darn nice. Hopefully not wishful thinking that I can get a LC Premium for under $85.

Wonder how different LC's 2.4T Hybrid Max vs GX's 3.4L TT would feel like. On paper, they look the same but GX doesn't have the battery hump in the trunk area.

I think that 2.4T Hybrid Max is the same engine in their Grand Highlander Platinum Max Hybrid and TX500.

The 3.4l will last until the end of time, and the 2.4t will last for 15 years (or whatever finite period other Toyota hybrid systems last for until they need some type of big repair).
